What identifies me
I think at the age of 17 what truly identifies me is what my peers will have to say.
What I think defines me are things that play a big roll in my life, nothing plays a bigger roll than my family and friends. I am very close with my mom has taught me the importance of being independent and taking responsibility for what I do. She has made being a teenager very easy because our relationship has a lot of trust and there is not many rules or restrictions. The only reason I have ever had to do anything athletic is what I have to thank my dad for, He has always pushed me to excel in what I do especially in sports. He always is planning something like a trip to whistler for snowboarding to a camping trip in Kilarney park. This has helped me stay active because he has taught me that it is so important to spend time together doing something that will create memories. I have a younger brother and sister that I influence but the person who defines me the most in my family would be my cousin, he is 2 years older than me and we are very close, he has influenced me from a young age and always has my back. Many memories from my childhood up until now include my cousin. These people define me because they have helped me become who I am today and things would be very different for me if they were not around. My friends define me because the group of friends I have is like no other. We always have fun and we are always there for each other, I usually hangout with them together and most decisions such as trips or health kicks we all do together to make it more fun or easier. My friends play a huge roll in my life and they also define me because it is always non-stop laughter and fun when I am with them.
